Fuschia Katherine Sumner was born on April 17, 1982 in London, England. She is the daughter of Sting (Gordon Matthew Sumner) and his first wife, Frances Tomelty.
Fuschia started her career as an actress with the movie “Quando sei natto non puoi pui nasconderti” in which she played the role of Diana in 2005. She acted in the television series “Reason to Believe” in which she played the role of O.D Girl in 2006. Fuschia got her fame from the movie “Stardust” which was released in 2007. After that she played the role of Jeet Kune in the movie “Being Michel Madsen” which was released in 2007.
She attended New York’s Stonestreet Studios to study Film and Television Acting and graduated from the University of the West of England with a degree in Drama and English Literature. She also attened Bryanston School in Dorset.
In May 2005, she was listed as one of People Magazine’s “50 Most Beautiful.” A year later in May 2006, she was listed as one of Britain’s “50 Best Dressed” in Harper’s Bazaar.
Fuschia is the grandaughter of Irish actor Joseph Tomelty, who has a street named after him in the seaside town of Portaferry, Northern Ireland.
