Allen Collins

July 19, 1952 – January 23, 1990

Collins, founding member and guitarist for Lynyrd Skynyrd died at age 37 of pneumonia. A car accident in 1986 had left Collins paralyzed from the waist down.

    A little correction. There are no hills in the Black Country. I live there.

    Twice I came close to buying houses connected with him. First, Bishop’s Castle, Shopshire, UK and later, Zennor (Porl Thompson – the Cure was writing for him)
